With the organization of Fundación Yammine / Yammine Foundation, soccer school Lecumberry and Seven Sport from Cua (Miranda), Emmanuel y Calasanz from Caracas that took part in the second quadrangular tournament of the “Sembrando Futuro / Sowing Future” Tournament that took place at the Complejo La Guacamaya in Baruta.
“With this tournament, we’re looking to offer better possibilities to these soccer schools that have so limited resources. Thus, we can carry on educating better players and citizens”. Said Sarkis Yammine, the foundation’s spokesperson.
Yammine highlighted that the organization is motivated towards enhancing the environment and “there’s nothing better than doing it by educating the children”.
Also. Fundacion Yammine donated 10 soccer balls to each one of the minor leagues that participated.
Joes Quintero, Escuela Calasanz’ soocer coach, who also raised as champions of this tournament, thanked the Fundación Yammine / Yammine Foundation for the work they perform to promote sport in the country from scratches.
“The soccer balls are a gift from up-above because we didn’t have any. Fundación Yammine is doing a great job and my students are happy, especially when Metropolitanos’ goalkeeper arrived. Blessings to the foundation for its amazing work on helping and supporting the growth of the young soccer players”. Said Quintero.
At the tournament, Giancarlo Schiavone, goalkeeper from Metropolitanos FC, also took part and pointed out the importance of this kind of events for the sportive development of the children.
“This tournament and the donation are a big plus for the children, it motivates them to follow their dreams, it helps them and makes them see how important values are for children, the importance of competition. It helps them stay on the path of sports, it keeps them away from drugs, from following the wrong path” – said Schiavone.
Through the program Sembrando Futuro / Sowing future, Fundación Yammine / Yammine Foundation, formed by Mohsen Yammine and Antonio Yammine, is committed on helping and supporting other social organizations focused on children’s healthy environment, such as education, sports, culture and the environmental care.
