A request came to the offices of the Fundación Yammine / Yammine Foundation (FY): the transportation used to transfer the children cared by the Fundación Amigos del Niño que Amerita Protección (FUNDANA), needed expensive repairs and maintenance.
“We immediately responded that they could count on us. We are very happy to help them,” expressed Sarkis Yammine, spokesman of the FY.
The FUNDANA’s goal is to provide comprehensive care to children between the ages of zero and six, who are in a situation of abuse, abandonment or neglect due to threats and/or rights violation. The truck that required repair is used to transfer the children to educational or medical centers.
“If we could all give a contribution for our children or youngsters, we would not only have a better future but we could bring life quality and happiness for all of them. This is the reason why we are committed to continue supporting them,” said Yammine.
