The Fundación Yammine / Yammine Foundation donated 10 new wheelchairs to the Hospital Ortopédico Infantil in Caracas to help them continue with the noble task of caring for poor children who require medical attention.
“We want to continue supporting the work of the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital, because we believe it is one of the most serious and efficient institutions in this field,” said Sarkis Yammine spokesperson for the Foundation.
During this visit to the Orthopedic, the representatives of the Foundation were accompanied by professional soccer players of Atlético Venezuela FC and Deportivo La Guaira, who gave gifts and handmade cookies to the patients, to give them a moment of joy.
Keep going!
That was the message of the players of Atlético Venezuela FC and Deportivo La Guaira that were present in the activity for children who are waiting for, or recovering, from a medical procedure.
“You have to fight, see them give you a smile over the many problems that are facing, receiving a small detail such as a gift, it’s priceless,” said Luigi Erazo, player of Atlético Venezuela FC, who was grateful to the Foundation Yammine for inviting him to be part of this moving but meaningful experience.
His teammate, Luis Martinez, invited the children to never lose their smile, their hope and their happiness despite the problems that may be going on at this time. “When we went through difficult times, we came out stronger. They will be in very good shape to fulfill their dreams, “he said.
“I congratulate the Fundación Yammine / Yammine Foundation, this kind of help brings joy in people and the most important thing for these difficult times that these children go through is to be able to get a smile out of them,” the midfielder emphasized.
Finally, Vicente Suanno, player of Deportivo La Guaira, said that he felt pride to be part of this activity in bringing joy to children.
