The organization has worked hand by hand with Refugio de la Infancia School for over 20 years, seeking to help the children with scarce resources so they can have an optimal education full of knowledge and values.
Fundación Yammine / Yammine Foundation, retifying its commitment with the inclusion of children in all levels of education, donated a thousand school uniforms to the students of the school Refugio de la Infancia in Antimano.
“Our intentions are to improve the environment in which the children are growing up and living. We believe that having proper clothing motivates them to come to school and study. It also strengthens the moto of one of our programs: “Sembrando Futuro / Sowing The Future”, said Mohsen Yammine, CEO of the Foundation.
The school’s headmistress, Sister Gina Hincapié, thanked the constant support of the Yammine Foundation towards the school, a learning center that has about 464 children of scarce resources enrolled. “It means a lot to us. I think that educational quality is made from small details that for our school and for the parents are hard to get hold of, so having the support of the Yammine Foundation makes everything easier and nicer” – Hincapié added.
Two Decades of Constant Support
The Yammine Family, as well as the Yammine Foundation, have kept an uninterrupted and constant collaboration with the school for over 20 years, in which hundreds of donations and helsp have been given in many ways.
“We’ve come today to give our support, with all the energy and good vibes to keep on helping and supporting, with the satisfaction of seeing how this alliance has continued over the years. Also thinking on the new projects to develop, so we can keep on working together” – added Mohsen Yammine.
Therefore, Sister Hincapié assured that the support they have received through these two decades has been simple “indescribable”. “It’s the proximity, the affect in all ways, from the food to the studying supplies for the children and their families. We’ve never been unassisted with them: In every event and party, with values, we’ve been very blessed through the Foundation and the Yammine Family”, added.
The Fundación Yammine / Yammine Foundation plans on keep on working to beneficiate the children of the country. Incorporating the program “Sembrando Futuro / Sowing the Future”, stimulating the practice of recycling and the preservation of the environment is one of its immediate plans.
