100 children from Venezuela’s Casa Hogar Bambi Orphanage benefited from the Yammine Foundation donation that provided them with supplies for the new school year.
Each of the 100 kits presented by the Foundation contained a bag, a pencil case, a box of pencils, a box of crayons, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, a notebook and a ruler.
“It’s a way to support the Bambi orphanage, which helps children in dangerous situations. It’s a gift we give in order to support these children’s education, and as a way to recognize the great work this institution does,” said Sarkis Yammine, the Foundation’s representative.
The Yammine Foundation and Venezuela’s Bambi Orphanage are also allies on the matter of environmental care, with a program named “Sowing Futures.”
Kenia Amorer, director of the orphanage, explained that it was all part of a win-win relationship between both organizations, in order to provide children with love and care.
“Right now, they are providing us with an important gift in the shaper of school bags, which are essential in the eve of this new school year. They also gave the children educational talks on the subject of recycling, the importance of it and how to better care for the planet,” said Amorer, after thanking the Foundation.
The Yammine Foundation holds both education and the environment as its two guiding axis, and is comprised of Antonio Yammine and Mohsen Yammine.
